With December just days away, the resorts of the French Alps are gearing up to open. There are a number of high-altitude resorts (none higher than Val Thorens) that are already open and welcoming guests, with mid-week slopes mostly empty and cool, blue skies providing some great conditions on the new snow.
There is a lot to live up to flowing the last winter, but signs are pretty good so far, whilst there is snow forecast for 6 of the next 7 days in Val d’Isère. Chose your day and it could be a good one over the coming week.
