The towering Kitzsteinhorn glacier at over 3000 metres offers fantastic ski conditions right through until June and then again from the middle of September. This provides the perfect opportunity for skiing, and then down in the valley the grass is green and perfect for a round of golf on one of the Leading Golf Courses of Austria.
Each trip is tailor made, but here is a sample itinerary for a Ski and Golf combination.
Day 1:
- Arrival into SalzburgAirport and 1 hour private transfer to Zell am See / Kaprun
- Check into accommodation and onto golf course for a warm up of 9 holes
- Evening at a mountain 'alm' or hut for traditional Austrian dinner of 'hat' fondue and alm brewed beer
Day 2:
- Morning on the glacier skiing - either at leisure or with team challenge slalom races
- Lunch on the glacier
- 9 holes golf tournament
- Dinner at 'PorscheCastle' - 2 star Michelin restaurant within Schloss Prielau
Day 3:
- Morning of relaxation at the Tauern Spa complex OR for the more energetic a morning ski on the glacier
- Return transfer to Salzburg airport
- Flight departure
