The skiing has taken on a real edge as well with the development of numerous off-piste / freeride routes down the steeper sections of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier Ice Camp is another recent feature that has been added to the area. Located at 2500m altitude the Ice Camp is made up of 4 interconnecting ice domes that offers an array of attractions from a bar to an entombed Audi Quattro. The area provides a great meeting point for groups to take in the atmosphere of the ice and enjoy a few drinks before heading back down to the valley. The skiing is pretty damn good as well with the slopes reaching over 3000m and superb views down to the valley and Lake Zeller on the edge of Zell am See.
