So, the brilliant minds amongst La Folie management have helped by adding a hotel to their immune-system-destroying bar and are opening La Folie Douce Hotel Chamonix for the coming winter.
Aside from the popularity and prices, it is hard of not to love almost everything about Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The scenery is out of this world and the skiing is high, tough and steep. If there was one element missing, it would have been an après ski HQ. Sure, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc offers serious action off the snow, but one unifying, talked-about, honey-trap of an après ski location wasn’t always there.
But from the start of the winter season 2018/19, La Folie Douce Hotel Chamonix will be welcoming guests to its slope-side, ski-in / ski-out accommodation, restaurant and all-round entertainment Mecca on the snow beneath the Brévent ski sector. Pack the aspirins and rest-up before arrival.
