From the exterior the sizeable building doesn't give too much away but once inside the superb architecture is very evident. The multi-levels and huge public spaces are impressive as is the light which streams in through the glass walls - in summer at least!
The views across the water and onto the volcanic peaks are might impressive especially from the many walkways that lead to stunning viewing points. Meeting spaces vary greatly in size from the concert hall to more intimate spaces.
As well as being an architectural marvel, the Harpa lies close to the vibrant centre of Reykjavik where Viking culture is in evidence as the drinks flow.
