It is a great beginner / lower intermediate ski area with tree-lined skiing and easy access from Kaprun. The recently completed connection from Kaprun to the Maiskogel and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier allows clients to access the glacier directly from Kaprun, transforming access to these snow-sure slopes.

The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is the highest ski area in the Salzburg region and offers snow-sure skiing from September through to early summer. Great lifts, varied skiing, fantastic off-piste and superb snow conditions create a fantastic ski area.
